Gutta Plan: A plan out of the gutta. A plan out of the dirt. A project put together by rapper, DroCole.

On September 14th, 2018, DroCole released his very first mixtape called Gutta Plan. The tape was released through his Audiomack and SoundCloud pages, and was later made available on Spinrilla mixtapes.

The mixtape carries 16 tracks including some previously released songs like Act Like You Know, No Fear and They Know. DROCOLE - BORN TO REIGN (SONG LYRICS)

Here are the lyrics to the song "Born to Reign," the official lead single off DroCole's debut mixtape, Gutta Plan, set to drop on the 14th of September, 2018:

DROCOLE - BORN TO REIGN (SONG LYRICS)

Hook:

Its been a long time coming now finally here (long time coming and now we finally here)
Its been a long time coming now  finally here (long time coming and now we finally here)
Mama I'm going in, brother we gonna eat (its been a long time coming and now we finally here)
Cuz time to reign is near
The time to reign is here (its been a long time coming and now we finally here)

Verse:

For the longest my nemesis has been fear
My destiny was unclear
Jealousy among my peers
This is the reason why we constantly shedding tears
The same reason why our glory take long to appear
Don't tell me you a killer, just show me the souvenir
And me, my intentions are pretty clear
My touch is cold and severe
If you cannot stand me you might wanna pull a chair
Man I got bars for days, here you can have a beer

Yea, I hold it down, I hold it down
I'm the same kid you used to motherfuckin doubt
Your life is boring you wanna talk about me now?
You better look in the mirror and watch your motherfuckin mouth
Man how can we not make it our passion is intravenous
We under their skin, tell me dawg how can they beat us?
They soft like cotton candy
But somehow they fuckin bitter
D.R.O. got a flow that make a living legend shiver
Listen:

Facts in tracks my nigga I don't fabricate
No hoes, see the calendar when I want a date
You rappers ain't safe you better off faking deaths
You won't say shit when the cold arm of death extend
For all I know a loud mouth has a deficit
You like a fridge you ain't never gon make no heat
So I suggest you don't fuck with me Cuz I hurt in the belly like a kick in the nuts nigga ugh!

I lay you down, I lay you down
If a nigga snap, I snap back like a hat
Niggaz kissing ass to make sure they get ahead
I'ma break the walls if they don't let me through the gates
Time to exhibit my prowess
Spit a flow that is flawless
Game sharp, cut like a knife
Chop your ego to size nigga

Errday I swear I been on my grind
Man errday I'm talking to Adonai
I'm like lord when will I ever ever shine
It's been a long time coming
Been a long time starving

DROCOLE ANNOUNCES GUTTA PLAN MIXTAPE RELEASE DATE | ZIM HIP HOP

DroCole is super excited as he has just completed working on his first long-play project, a mixtape with the title “Gutta Plan." The tape is set to drop on September 14, 2018, and the first official single off the project is a song called "Born to Reign" which is dropping this Friday,  August 10.

DroCole is a Hip hop artist from Juliasdale, a small resort town in Nyanga, Zimbabwe .

DroCole started his musical journey in 2011 as a ghost writer. In 2013 he recorded his first single, however due to financial constraints and the fact that he was still schooling, he failed to balance his obligations and would later that same year decide to pursue music full time. He attended Ellis Robins Boys’ High School in Mabelreign, Harare.

The rapper drew his inspirational waves from artists like T.I., Lil Wayne, The Notorious B.I.G., Big L, Jamaican Dancehall icon, Vybz Kartel and the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, just to name but a few. He also gained inspiration and confidence from complimentary views that were glued to his musical works. People would pass positive remarks such as "you killed it” after listening to his music, particularly due to his energetic and aggressive style of delivery so he began calling himself the “archetype deadly rapper.” He was convinced that no one out there sounded like him. The rapper has released a chain of singles, worked with a number of fellow upcoming artists and producers like Fun. F, Quazor, Tha Kanivore, Splits Loui and C. Bleech.

Building up to the release of his mixtape, on September 8, 2017 he did a double drop, releasing a hot banger “Pound Sterling,” where he showcased a catchy flow with filled with playful chants and the hard-hitting track, “A Milli” where he outlined his intentions and ambitions, both as a rapper and as a young black male.

DroCole’s music effortlessly stands out, not only because of his unique voice but everything from his execution to the subject matters he addresses, his choice of words and his rebel flow make his work authentic and unprecedented. Surely "The Archetype deadly rapper" has a rare and unfabricated story to share with the world.

WHY ARTISTS SHOULD WORK TOGETHER IN 2018

If you are a rapper, a singer or even a record producer in the music industry today, you must well know that collaborations with fellow artists are undoubtedly essential should one wish to grow big and learn from others. So here are some of the reasons why artists come together to collaborate.

They want to grow their fan base. If you make a song with another artist, you're going to be exposed to their fans and if their fans like your style they might become fans too. This goes both ways like a kitchen door!

The second reason is that artists want to build connections because in this industry one just cannot do it on their own. In this game connections are everything. You have to know someone who knows someone important that you don't know. That's how you get plugged in!

Another reason is to learn from each other and to create something dope and different. Don't feature someone on your track simply because you have gone blank and just need a verse to fill up your track. Collaborate with somebody whose style effortlessly compliment your original sound or at least the sound you wish to produce on a particular project.

Collaborations with others will probably bring out the best in you, especially in a genre like Hip-hop, you want to make sure you go hard. You don't wanna be nobody's b*tch. You know how the game go!

So basically musicians collaborate to further their audience reach and for old cats, it's probably to prolong their relevance. Nowadays I doubt it's ever about the need to create awesome music or respect for the other artist's work anymore. It's mostly about business; the money, which is why your features need to be strategic.

Please don't waste time and energy and perhaps your money working with somebody who isn't good enough. This ruins your whole image and just slows you down and you just can't afford that. You're on a mission, right? If you're serious about your craft and if you ever ponder about where you wanna take your music, you're going to try and act in a professional manner and that includes working with like-minded people. Work with somebody who takes you one step ahead. It doesn't matter how big or small their fan base might be. Quality over quantity is eternally respected.

Lastly make sure that when you collaborate with someone they also push the music you make together as they would their own. Remember what matters is that good music and that it reaches the right people for significant progress to be realized. Point being, pay attention to who you work with and work hard. Surround yourself with people that build you and learn to work with others in humble manner. Maintain a teachable posture, that's how you learn.

Till next time, work on that fam. Let's make great music and make money from it in 2018!
